Yowah is the un-cut gem of south west Queensland.
Yowah is an outback town and locality in the Shire of Paroo, Queensland, Australia. The town is known for its opal mining and numerous opal fields that lie around the town as well as the "Yowah Nut" a local type of opal distinctive to the region

WHAT IS AVAILABLE IN YOWAH?
We have a small store at the local caravan park that supplies all necessities including fuel.
One cafe to supply takeaway food.
The only way to purchase alcohol in Yowah is at the Bar during open hours.
Please consider this when preparing for your journey.
